I apologize for not posting a blog for last week. I caught that cold that's been going around and it threw me off. Reminder that Wednesday of this week is an Early Release Day which will be "future story" day.
As always, plans are subject to changes and/or adjustments.
AP Chem (per 1):
Monday: Formal lab reports for the "percent copper in brass" lab activity are due. We will be covering topics from Chapter 13 sections 1,2,3 (and, maybe, 6) by going over the reading packet handed out last week. We may also do a "mini-lab" if time allows.
Thursday: Continuing to cover Chapter 13, including solution strength calculations. We may also do another mini-lab activity.
Chem-I (periods 2 and 4):
Monday: Finishing/reviewing history timeline topics on subatomic particles. Covering basic atomic structure, isotopes and atomic mass calculations. There will be a "Quest" (big quiz/small test) on Thursday on Timeline and Basic Atomic Structure. Notes and timeline will be allowed. NOTE: Projects scripts and/or storyboards due on Monday of next week (Dec 11) and the final video is due Monday, Dec 18th.
Thursday: Reviewing structure. Quest on History and Structure. Working on projects after quest. Scripts and/or Storyboards are due on Monday.
Chem Advanced (periods 6 and 7):
Tuesday: Covering Quantum Numbers and constructing Electron Configuration Diagrams. Probably no homework.
Friday: Reviewing Quantum Numbers. Covering three rules and how they apply to Electron Configurations. Note that there will probably be "Quest" on Tuesday of next week on recent "stuff".
