Week of December 18 to December 21

This is the final week before a well-deserved vacation!!!  Realize that we are almost half way through the school year.  Wow!!!!

As always, plans are subject to change and/or adjustments.


AP Chem (per 1):

Monday:   Finish mini-lab activity on "making solutions".  Starting lab activity on "Solubility Curve for KCl". 

Wednesday:  Continuing/finishing getting data for "Solubility" lab activity.  The lab report will be do on first class back after vacation.  Also due  on that day will be a reading/problem packet on Colligative Properties.


Chem-I (periods 2 and 4):

Monday:  reviewing early atomic models.  Continuing with Bohr models.  Going over "peer scoring" that will be happening for projects and doing a practice scoring from a previous video.  Working on videos (editing, etc).

Wednesday:  VIDEOS DUE (make sure you give a copy to Mr. Cat).  We will be starting to show videos during class and will likely have to finish them upon return from vacation.   No HW over vacation!!!



Chem Advanced (periods 6 and 7):

Tuesday:   We will be finishing the mini-lab on "Prediction #40".  There will be a "Quest" on QMM and Periodic Table.  Due Thursday:  Read/SSS 6-2 and complete problems page 178 numbers 16 thru 23.  Also, Pennies needed for a "fun lab" for Thursday.

Thursday:   HW due from 6-2  (oops.... make that 6-3...sorry)  and problems (see above).   We will be doing an "Alchemy" lab.  There will be no HW over vacation!!!!
