It looks like winter is here! Snow this past Saturday and potential for another snow/mixed storm on Tuesday. UPDATE: SNOW DAY did happen on Tuesday!!!
As always, plans are subject to changes/adjustments.
AP Chem (per 1):
Monday: Reviewing percent solutions and going over homework problems. Introducing Molarity. Doing mini-lab on "Like Dissolves Like". Due Wednesday is the worksheet on Molarity calculations.
Wednesday Thursday: going over HW. Going over "like dissolves like" mini-lab. Covering Dilutions. Doing a lab practical "Quiz" on making solutions.
Friday Monday: Probably starting a lab on Solubility of KCl/making a solubility curve.
Chem-I (periods 2 and 4):
Monday: Project Scripts/storyboards due by end of class. Going over "quest" from last week. Working on projects. REMINDER that final video is due next week on Tuesday, Dec 19th!!! ALSO,
due on Wednesday Thursday of this week is Read/SSS Section 5-1 and do problems p 149 numbers 22 through 29.
Wednesday Thursday: Homework due from 5-1 and problems (see above). We will be going over this section with 30 min (or so) of project time. No HW for
Friday Monday.... but videos due next
Tuesday Wednesday.
Friday Monday: Mainly project time, including practice scoring for videos. Due Wednesday: Videos.
Chem Advanced: (periods 6 and 7):
Tuesday: Wednesday: Due is SSS on 6-1 and problems page 181 numbers 24 through 29. Reviewing electron configurations and quantum numbers (in class worksheet). Starting Unit 3-E on periodic table. No HW for Friday.
Thursday: Friday: Continuing periodic table with a possible "mini-lab" activity. NOTE that a "Quest" is planned for next week!
