A short week for students as Friday, March 28th is a teacher inservice. Also, I will be out of school on both Thursday of this week and Monday of next week on a trip with my daughters. NOTE THAT NEXT WEEK is the final week of the 3rd qtr!!!!!!
As usual, assignments and due dates are subject to changes and adjustments.
Chem-I (per 2,3,6):
Monday: We will be continuing with topic of nuclear power, including positives and negative aspects, accidents and waste disposal. You will also receive the written Editorial Assignment which will be due on block day (no exceptions).
Tuesday: Per 2,3 will be involved in science augmentation testing. Per 6 will be working on their editorials. REMINDER: editorials are due on Wed/Thurs
Block Day: Editorials are Due. We will be dividing up the class to run a "point-counterpoint" debate on the topic of the power plant. We will also be finishing unit with coverage of nuclear fusion and starting the History Channel's Manhattan project documentary. NOTE: Test on radiation unit will be next week (either Tuesday or Block Day).
Friday: no school/inservice day
Chem-IA (per 7):
Monday: Editorial returned. Finishing unit 4 with Fusion and starting History Channel's Manhattan Project.
Tuesday: Finishing documentary. Reviewing for Test.
Thursday: Test on Unit 4. Allowed: Calculator and Per table. No laptop, no notes, no phones!!!
Friday: no school/inservice day
Chem-II:
Monday: finishing test
Tuesday: going over test, preparing for lab activity
Wed: Lab activity (Carbon Dioxide from Alka Seltzer)
Friday: No School/Inservice
