Week of October 7 to October 11, 2013

Week 6 of the first quarter.  Sox on a roll.  Watching Pats game as I type.  Kind of like watching paint dry!!!!  3 day weekend coming up. 

As usual, plans and due dates are subject to changes and/or adjustments:

Chem-I: 

Monday:   Due today is assignment from pages 64, 65(SSS) and problems 57, 62 and 80 from pages 96, 97.  COW #3 assigned (Calcium), which will be due on Friday.   I'll be returning and going over several graded items, including tests, labs, poster grades, etc....   Checking mid-quarter grades on Inf Campus.

Tuesday:   Begin coverage of Unit 2 (Keynote).    Q vs Q,  A vs P.   Examples.  Demo.   Due Wed/Thurs:   Lab Prep (reading intro and taking notes) with a probable quiz on block day.

Wed/Thurs:   Quick review as necessary.   Probable quiz on "stuff" from Tuesday and lab prep (open notes).   Lab Activity on Measuring Mass. Reminder that COW #3 is due on Friday.

Friday:  COW #3 due (Calcium).   Finishing lab as necessary and turning in.  Going over quiz. 


Chem-II:  

Monday:   Assignment from 13-1 due (Read/SSS and problems pag 407 # 26-35).   Going over test from last week.  Possibly assigning group assignments (due Oct 17) if time permits (if not, they'll be assigned on Tuesday).   Probable quiz on 13-1 topics on Tuesday. 

Tuesday:   Probable Quiz.

Wed:   55 gal drum demo (???), working on group assignment.

Friday:  group work.
