It's hard to believe that it is already the fourth quarter. Even though it doesn't feel like summer is fairly close, final exams will be coming fast.
Reminder that Wednesday is a half-day with juniors taking the Science Augmentation tests.
AP Chemistry (period 1):
Monday: Finishing and presenting lab on Decomp of CaCO3. Starting Equilibrium. HW for Wednesday is K calculations.
Wednesday: Going over Kc calculations. Covering Kp equation.
Friday: Chem Equilibrium calculations using ICE process. HW TBD. Note that there will be some sort of test next week.
Chem-I (periods 2 and 4):
Monday: reviewing molecular geometry/VSEPR. Introducing Polarity. No HW.
Wednesday: No class due to testing
Friday: Continuing with Polarity, "like dissolves like" and IMFs. HW TBD.
Chemistry Advanced:
Tuesday: worksheet on SR Rxns is due. Reviewing SR rxns. Finishing lab on Percent Copper. No HW.
Thursday: Covering Double Replacement Rxns and Combustion Rxns with examples. This is the end of the unit. No HW for Monday. We will review on Monday with a test on Thursday.
