I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break. It's hard to believe we are now heading into December. In a bit over three weeks, we'll be on holiday break.
As always, assignments and plans are subject to adjustments and/or changes.
AP Chem (per 1):
Monday: Mini-labs returned Tests from Chapter 11 returned and go over. Due Wednesday will be a Pre-lab from AP lab packet that will include watching two videos (links below and on Catchem) Due on Friday will be the reading packet from Chapter 13.

Wednesday: Pre-lab due. Doing introductory activity using Spectrophotometer and various solutions and preparing brass by reacting it with conc acid. The lab will continue on Friday. Note that reading packet from Chapt 13 is due Fri.
Friday: Reading packet is due. Continuing with lab producing various graphs which will be used to determine experimental results. There will probably be some related work to be done over the weekend in regards to this lab.
Chem-I (per 2 and 4):
Monday: Review of atomic history. Finishing time-line with neutrons, nucleus and Manhattan project. Project time will be give for final 30 minutes or so. No "direct homework" for Wednesday. Note that project progress grades will be given on Friday.
Wednesday: Covering basic atomic structure, isotopes and atomic mass calculations. In-class problems and worksheet. Possibly some project time. There will be a SubUnit Test on Units 3A and 3B on Friday. Projects progress (notes, bibliography, initial plans for video as well as time logs) will be assessed on Friday.
Friday: SubUnit Test on 3A and 3B. Project progressed assessed for each group.
Chem Advanced (per 6 and 7):
Tuesday: Assignment Due is read/SSS from 6-1 (Read/SSS 6-1 and do problems numbers 24 through 29 on page 181). Going over subunit test given last week. Starting with subunit 3E on periodic table. Possible Quiz on Thursday (?????).
Thursday: Possible Quiz on section 6-1. Lab Activity on "predicting #40. Due Monday will be Read/SSS section 6-3 and do problems page 178 numbers 16 to 23.
