Week of Sept 19 to 23y

Believe it or not, we are almost half way through the first quarter. Fall officially starts this week with the the Autumnal Equinox. As always, plans are subject to changes and/or adjustments.

AP Chem:

Tuesday:  LR/ER problems due. Finishing stoich lab. Two lab reports due on Thursday. Test will be on Thursday.  

Thursday:  2 labs due.  Review problems for test due.  TEST. 

for MONDAY:  

We will be starting Kinetic Theory and Gas Laws next week.  We will also be doing an "official" AP lab during the week.   In anticipation of the kinetic theory/gas laws, you have the following assignment due:

Read/notes (vocab/equations.... you may want to use the AP SSS sheets that are on my catchem.wikipages. com page )

Sections 10-7, 10-1, 10-2

And.... do the ODD problems (note most of the ODD problems have answers in the back of the book)   p437 75 thru 83 odds    and p 436 numbers  1 thru 23 odds.

Chem-1 periods 2 and 4:

Tuesday:  continuing and finishing lab on conclusions. Labs will be turned in on Thursday.  Due Thursday will be assignment from Keynote.

Thursday:  keynote assignment due. Labs turned in. Continuing w Unit One. Possibly starting poster assignment.

Chem-Advanced.:

Monday:  pre lab due.  Going over recent test. Starting lab activity. Note, due Friday:  read/sss sections 4-1 and 4-2. Problems page 122 numbers 34 thru 45.

Wednesday:  continuing w lab. Lab will be finished and turned in on Friday. Assignment due Friday from 4-1 and 4-2 (see above).

Friday:  Assignment from 4-1 and 4-2 due. labs completed and turned in.  Possible poster assignment
