I hope everyone had a great long weekend. Reminder that Wednesday is PSATs for juniors (and sophomores).
As always, plans are subject to changes and adjustments.
AP Chem (per 1):
Tuesday: final presentation on gas laws. Sharing lab results. Finishing and turning in lab reports.
Wednesday: Gas laws demos, formulas and problems. HW for Friday: Prelab.
Friday: Guest speaker: Paul Rollins (SCUBA science). Starting Charles Law lab activity.
Chem-I (per 4, 6):
Tuesday: Labs returned. Go over quiz from last week. Review SI units. Metric Prefixes. Due BLOCK DAY will be pre-lab (read and take notes) and there will be another (!!) quiz on the SI units and lab prep.
Wednesday is PSATS (per 6 will have a "chem study")
Thurs/Friday Block: Pre-lab due. Quiz on SI units. Lab Activity on Measuring Mass. NOTE that COW 3 on Calcium will be due on Monday.
Chem-I Adv (per 2, 7):
Tuesday: Test on Unit 2. (no HW)
Wednesday: PSATS (per 7 will have a "Chem Study")
Thursday block: Tests returned, labs returned. Assigning Element Projects. Due on Monday will be COW (Calcium). Also Due Monday will be assignment from Chapter 4: Read/SSS sections 4-1 and 4-2. Do problems page 122 numbers 34 through 45.
