Hard to believe, but it's the last full week of classes. Goodness knows it's been hot enough.
Per usual, assignments are subject to change.
Monday: Cover the concept of Molar Mass and doing Mole-Mass conversions. Finishing the pea bean lab activity and turning it in. Homework due Tuesday: problems on page 315, numbers 58 and 59. Show work on all calculations.
Tuesday: Homework due from page 315 (see above). We will quickly go over homework and then cover Molar Volume of Gases and Avogadro's Hypothesis. We will then start 2 step mole conversions using samples of aluminum and water. Homework for Wed is TBA (probably worksheet).
Wed/Thur: Worksheet on mole conversions due. We will be covering percent composition and applying percent composition of compounds to samples(if time allows). We will then be taking the group "double quiz" on the aquarium and can. If time permits, we will also start the Mole Calculations lab activity..... the last activity of the year!!!!!
Friday: doing/completing the mole lab.
Monday and Tuesday next week will be reviewing for exams. More info on exams coming later.
