As always, plans, assignments and due dates are subject to change and/or adjustments.

AP Chem (per 1):   Final week before Exam!  Wow.

Monday:  wrapping up thermodynamics with relationship between enthalpy, entropy and Gibbs free energy.  Summaries by Bozeman science.  Assignment for Tuesday will be to do online problems from the UCDavis Chem Wiki as assigned.

Tuesday:  Working on sample MC questions for exam (small groups).

Wednesday:  Continuing review and practice.

Friday:  Last day to review/practice.  (party???)

Chem-I (per 2,3,6):

Monday:  review skeleton equations.  Demos of simple reactions, writing skeleton equations.  Homework for Tuesday will be worksheet on skeleton equations.  Note that a "SubUnit Test" is planned for block day.

Tuesday:  worksheet due.   Starting balancing equations.  HW:  worksheet on balancing.  There will be an open-note 25 pt SubUnit Test on skeleton equations and balancing equations on Wed/Thursday block.

Wed/Thurs block:   review/practice.   SubUnit Test.   Working on book assignment for Friday.  Due Friday:   Read/SSS pages 330 thru 332 (Combination and Decomposition Rxns).  Problems page 331 numbers 13,14 and page 332 numbers 15,16.

Friday:  Assignment due (See above).   Going over SubUnit Test.  Starting Classifying rxns.

Chem-IA (per 7):

Monday:   problem solving using conversion factors ("factor-label" method) using simple problems.  Homework will be a worksheet of problems.  Note that there will be a quiz on Tuesday on using conversion factors in problem solving.

Tuesday:  problems due.   Quiz on Problem Solving.  When done,  book assignment due for Thursday:  Read/SSS in Chapter 10, Section 10-1 and do problems page 315 numbers 47 through 50.

Thursday block:  going over quiz.  Starting the "MOLE" concept.   Examples.  Avogadro's number.  Probably starting a lab activity, "pea beans".   Possibly some mole conversions for HW, too.
